Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I get Colostrum from drinking milk?
No. Colostrum is very different from milk. It is produced only in the first few days after childbearing in the breast of humans, cows and other mammals. After the first few days, the mothers stop producing it, and its production is replaced by breast milk. Colostrum is highly concentrated in Growth Factors, Antibodies, and other immune boosting factors helping the newborns fight off bacteria and viruses and strengthening their digestive system. Based on Colostrum research it contains up to a 100 times more antibodies than milk.
2. How is Bovine Colostrum different from Human Colostrum?
Bovine Colostrum is nearly identical to that of Human Colostrum and is safe for adults as well as children. It is known for its high levels of antibodies.
3. How is Vitality Colostrum Different from other colostrum products?
Our manufacturing and quality assurance processes is what sets our Vitality Colostrum apart. Vitality Colostrum is always collected on the first day of calving and processed at low temperatures. This is the only way we can guarantee a concentration of 30% immunoglobulin or more. Unlike other brands, Vitality Colostrum is specifically enterically coated to bypass stomach acids to reach the small intestines so all the nutrients may be absorbed. All our colostrum NON-GMO and is produced from USA grass fed cows that are free from antibiotics, added hormones or pesticides.
4. How do I take Vitality Colostrum?
Simply take 2 capsules on a empty stomach with a full glass of water daily or as directed by your medical practitioner. If you miss a day, don’t worry; just continue to take it the next day.
5. Is Colostrum safe to take with other supplements or medications?
Because colostrum supports your digestive tract, other substances such as food, supplements, vitamins and medications may actually be better absorbed by your body. Thus, it may enhance the effects of other supplements. Colostrum has no known drug interactions. However, we always recommend you consult with your doctor or healthcare practitioner before starting any new supplement or medication.
6. Is Colostrum safe for children to take?
Absolutely. Colostrum is safe for both adults and children. However, we always recommend consulting with your doctor prior to you or your children starting any supplements.
7. Is Colostrum better to take in capsule or powder form?
We recommend taking colostrum in capsule form versus in powder form because properly encapsulated colostrum is protected from the stomach acids and is able to make it into the small intestine undamaged. Your small intestine is where your body absorbs all the immune factors and growth factors contained in the colostrum. The factors, especially the IGF growth factors are particularly weak against the stomach acids. Our colostrum is specifically enterically coated to get to your small intestine.
8. Why is Vitality Colostrum Defatted (fat-free)?
We take out the fat from our colostrum because fat in colostrum contains no beneficial nutrients. All the growth factor, antibodies, and immunoglobulins are contained in the proteins. Fat from colostrum can actually spoil the colostrum if it is not refrigerated properly. Since Vitality Colostrum has been defatted, it does not have to be refrigerated and can be stored in a cool and dry place at room temperature.
9. Will I receive a tracking code so I can track my order of Vitality Colostrum?
Yes. Once your order is placed, you will immediately receive a receipt confirming your order. Orders are usually shipped out within 24 hours and you will receive an email with a tracking code once it is shipped. You can use that code to track your order on the USPS official website.
10. How can I return Vitality Colostrum if I am not satified?
